June 2025

How have your hearts been this past month?

Ours have been full of sorrow and gratitude, learning to walk with our grief while we’re also waking up to this lovely Spring. Whether you’re carrying ancient grief or new grief, whether you’re feeling the sorrows of the world or keenly aware of your own loss, we’d love to gather with you. Our full moon gathering is a sacred space where we come together to collectively grieve, release, and renew. The full moon reminds us that something has reached its culmination and that the cycle is about to begin again. It reminds us to harvest what we need and compost the rest. It reminds us to make space, because something new is on its way.

The Gathering

The gathering incorporates music, poetry, writing prompts, and time with the altar (if desired). There is no fixing or cross-talking; we don’t come for or give advice. Instead, we make space for each of us to be where we are and practice collective ritual around our grief.

Why Join Us?

We need regular reminding that our grief doesn’t need to be fixed, it wants to be witnessed. We need each other’s grief; it allows us to undertake the collective work required at this time in history —the work of Remembering, Returning, and Belonging to ourselves, to one another, and to the Earth. Without grief, we cannot find the path home.

June’s Moon

This month’s full moon is known as the Strawberry Moon, a name connected to some Indigenous traditions that remind us that this is the time when strawberries are ripening. Little prophets of the summer to come…sweet gifts of Earths generosity scattered close to the ground.

A quote I’ve been meditating on lately, reminding me that the whole Earth is grieving, that we have a deep need for each other, and a deep need to find our Belonging rooted within the Earth.

The People cannot be healed unless the Land is healed…

The Land cannot be healed until the People are healed by the Land.

-Martín Prechtel

When we show up with our grief, we all gain strength, and we offer the gift of our presence to the collective. The time for renewal is now. We hope you’ll join us.
